Our story
From the first round
to the final round.
Every round with the people who matter is worth keeping.
This is a golf tee. It costs about a dime, and it holds more memories than anything else I own. Every round I've ever played started with one. My first round. My father's rounds. My son's first round. And somewhere, sometime, there's a last round for each of us.
My father belonged to my home club for 40 years. He played there with my mother, with his friends, and with his three sons, me included. Some of the best conversations I ever had with my dad happened walking up a fairway. Not at the dinner table. Out there, between shots.
Years later I stood on that same course with my own son and put a club in his hands for the first time. I fixed his grip. He topped it. We both laughed. And I remember thinking: I wish my dad could see this.
For Eric.
I had a friend named Eric. He loved golf, but more than that, he loved hearing about golf. Every time any of us played, Eric wanted to know. How'd you play? What'd you shoot? Tell me about the shot. Good round or terrible, he just wanted to be part of it.
We lost Eric. And I still catch myself coming off the course thinking, I should tell Eric about that.
What if everyone who wants to hear about your round could actually see it? Live, or later. Without you doing a thing.
That's 3SixTee. Your son's first swing. That last trip to Scotland with the man who taught you the game. And all the ordinary Saturdays in between that turn out not to be so ordinary after all. Kept automatically, without effort.
The Great Shot button is for Eric.
